CEI staff work with individuals and academic leadership systemwide on a range of teaching-related goals, from one-time questions about a course to substantial pedagogical and curricular initiatives at the campus, college, department, or program level. As a University-funded Center, there is no charge to you or your department for CEI services.
Teaching Consultations
CEI consultants are available to work with you to find creative, flexible, and practical solutions for your instruction. Consultations are private, non-evaluative, and free of charge. Send us a question via email, meet with us once, or collaborate on an on-going basis.
Student Feedback Facilitation
One of our consultants will work with you to determine a process for gathering consensus-based feedback from your students given the instructional modality of your course. You and the consultant will work together to customize the questions based on what you want to know.

Projects have included evaluating course-level innovations, assessing department- and college-level educational initiatives, and conducting campus-wide research into the impact of digital learning technologies and other teaching and learning innovations.
Curricular and Educational Initiatives
CEI works with all levels of academic leadership systemwide — chancellors, deans, chairs, heads, and program directors — to support substantial pedagogical and curricular initiatives at the campus, college, department or program level. Initiatives have ranged from establishing a peer review of teaching system to curriculum mapping and revision for accreditation.
